Rudolf Vatinyan, cameraman, head of the jury
In 1970 graduated the Institute of All-Union Institute of
Cinematography, majoring in cameraman. Since 1970 he has been a
photography director at Armenfilm Studio. He is an author of more than
30 films. He is an Honored Art Worker, the State premium winner,
professor, Head of Department of Cinematography at Yerevan State
Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, secretary in the Union of
Cinematography of the Republic of Armenia. |

Karine Khodikyan, writer, Deputy Minister of
Culture and Youth Affairs Born in 1957. Graduated Yerevan State
University, majoring in Philology. She was an editor of Literature
section in the "Garoun" monthly magazine. Currently she is an
editor-in-chief in the "Grakan Tert" - an official newspaper of the
Union of Waiters of Armenia. She is a founding editor of "Dramaturgia"-
a literary periodical of modern playwrights. She has published four
books of prose and plays. She is a member of the National TV and Radio
Committee. |

Levon Kalantar, film director Born in 1956 in
Yerevan. Graduated the Department of Culture of Armenian Pedagogical
Institute. In 1972-1974 worked in Armenfilm Studio as an assistant to
the sound producer. In 1981 -1983 he worked as a producer at the State
Television where was granted a position of the High Category Director.
In 1993-1994 was a producer at the Bars Media independent TV Station.
In 1994-1995 was a producer at the "A1 +" Independent TV Station.
Since 1997 he has been working with Internews Armenia as a producer. |

Anita Erznkyan, film critic
Graduated Yerevan State University, majoring in Philology. Then she
continued her studies in Moscow Art Research Institute as a
post-graduate student. She is a member of the Union of Cinematography,
Cinema Critics Association in Yerevan and she is a member of FiPress.
She has been a lecturer since 1978. |

Laura Muradyan, professor
During 30 years she has published monographs in scientific and
pedagogical issues, researches and articles on various past and
present aspects of Armenian and foreign literature. Currently she
works at Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema as Head of
Humanities Department. While working in the Institute she has
initiated and edited publication of "Handes" - a collection of
scientific articles and researches. |

Karen Gevorgyan, film director
Born in 1941 in Yerevan. Graduated the Cinematography Department of
VGIK in 1963. In 1963-64 worked at the Armenfilm Studio. Graduated the
Advanced Directing Courses in Moscow in 1967. Worked in Mosfilm
Studio, Tsentrnauchfilm, Yerevan Studio of Documentary Films.
In 1970-1980 worked at the Armenfilm Studio. Later worked at Lenfilm Studio
and Dovzhenko Film Studio in Kiev. In 1992 established his own
Independent Studio "Navigator". |

Anna Elbakyan, actress
Born in 1963 in Yerevan. Graduated the Actor Studio of Yerevan State
Academic Theatre after G. Sundukyan. Worked as a leading actress in
the "Metro" and the National Theatres, also performed in feature
films. Since 2000 has worked as a director-manager in Yerevan State
Marionette Theatre. |
